I guess poutine and Tim Hortons was getting a little boring. This week Canadians received a little Momofuku ramen and other Chang-goodness and they went crazy. Lined up around the block crazy. I don’t blame them. I like Momofuku too.
The Toronto craziness might have been exacerbated by the fact that the new Momofuku is part of a swanky hotel and located in a”3 story glass cube.” People might have thought they were selling iPhone 5s in there.
But if you go to Toronto, make sure you’re standing in the line for Momofuku — not the Apple Store. It’s worth it.
